    I see that in calculus  one must look for the distance traveled even when the speed is changing. Finding integrals is a different process than that of finding the derivative.     This weekend has been so great. Today we went Roller Skating and we had so many laughs to share. I’m glad I was able to share it with the good friends I have here, the awesome counselors, and Jason’s “Yes” to letting us go! ( Like this and star it a ten!)

    Just finished the calculus video.

    The professor seemed to relax at the end of the video, which is good. When he described how the sin of (1/x) isn’t a continuous function and how it gets closer and closer to 0, it all clicked for me.

      Are you referring to those functions where you need to expand in order to cancel out some of the h’s and x’s? Binomial expansion is just expanding the binomial (x+h), but I know that is not a good explanation. Sorry:(

      I feel like this video was a bit too long as well. The professor was very nervous in the first part of the video. The end was definitely the highlight of the entire video, and I found it to be just about as interesting as you most likely.

    Meshing is collecting different pieces to make one new object. For example, in class we made three cylinders and made it one. The one cylinder represented a hot heater tank.  The objects became entwined to make a new item. I enjoyed using the Gambit program for the first time.

    yesterday we learned how to use gambit. It is a program to help design objects and able to test the use of fluid flow. We were taught how to make basic shapes with this program and how to meshing the shapes. I understood how to make the shapes, but the meshing, ill probally need some help doing.
